Coogs

Yesterday,I got bored and was trying to think of what to post, when I thought, Duh, the BYU game! Let me just say, they were great! They had a rough time at first, but they cleaned it up and won 14-13 to the 3rd best team in the country!!!!! This is their biggest win in 2 decades!!!! Let's hope they can keep on this high and start a winning streak, and maybe even become the first BCS buster.

A Visit With Grandma A

We visited Grandma Albertson last night. She told us she is beginning to enjoy living in her new home, though she is sad to leave her home behind. She seems to be doing well, and still has a good long term memory and can tell us some funny stories from her school days. Aunt Jan also stopped by when we were visting. We're glad she is beginning to adapt & enjoy her new home.

A Busy Week!

This week we've had the final performance for Beauty and the Beast, and had my first week of school. Thanks to family and friends who came to support us in our play!

Oquirrh Mountain Temple Dedication

Today was the temple dedication for the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. Elder Uctdorf has asked LDS members to record thoughts of the dedication on record through journals. I count my blog as a journal, so it is important to me that I follow this council to post this. I felt the spirit very strongly, and there isn't a doubt in my mind about the blessings of the temple. I also noticed that Princess was also touched by the spirit on this special occasion. Now there are some certain points where you can see three dedicated temples at once, the Draper, Oquirrh Mountain,& Jordan River. This is a great blessing, and I know that we are a blessed generation.

I Gotta Feeling....

That tonight's gonna be a good, good night!
Sorry, I just had to get a Black Eyed Peas quote out of my system. (Our new favorite artist and song.)

Today I'm going to be super busy, because I have two performances of Beauty and the Beast! It has been so fun, and we have done 5 out of 8 performances so far! It has been a great experience, and I will get you all the details at around Tuesday, because I need to save my energy for the next performances, it will be crowded!

PS- I now have a special empathy for the hardships of talking brooms!

As Mo Says, "Lump in Your Throat, Tears In Your Eyes Cute!"

We got Baboosh's pictures taken. They are so adorable (from the obviously unbiased brother. :P)

The photographer made a slideshow on YouTube for his pics. Luckily, we can get them all on a disc so that we can try to get lots of them, and we will also get to take our time to decide.

Anyway, I'll be quiet and give you the link.

Very Funny

We've been having an awesome summer. I haven't been blogging about it like I should. But when SamMan said this, I knew it must be posted immediately. After seeing a flag, SamMan exclaimed, "Look, There's the flag for The United States of Bawock Obama!!

GALOON!

We just went to LAGOON! Me, Princess, and Daddy went for an afternoon and had a really good time. We mostly rode the super-scary stuff. Princess rode everything w/ us, even the Wicked Rollercoaster that I just had to show above. She even rode the towers that blast you up. We had a really good time and hope to go again soon to use our Season Passports. :)

The Joys of the Mind of SamMan

Ah, SamMan has exceded our expectations as family comedian this weekend.

1. Yesterday, we were driving to Costco on another rainy day. (And, right now I'm listening to a heck of a storm starting to calm. Oop, nope I just heard lightning. Now, there is no more lightning. Now, I will continue on.) In the car, we had some semi-broken toys that we were going to take to the DI sometime. Since I'm sure that you are sick of me typing my thoughts, and I'm trying to make my blog more EXCITING!!!

So, I will just show you the conversation now.

SamMan: Can we get a new one of this toy?

Daddy: No, its just for littler kids like Willwam for their cribs.

SamMan: You might like it!!

SamMan: And it would make a FABULOUS PRIZE!!!!!!!!! (in a "The Price is Right" announcer voice.)

2. SamMan: Joshy, I'm gonna roast this marshmallow on the fire!

Jogus: I don't think we should do that.

SamMan: Why, what's the problem?!

3. (during family prayer.)

SamMan: Thank you for the food. Morgan is my girlfriend. She can't come over because its a Sunday, but once we made a cake. Amen.

Amen to that!

(Morgan is a neighbor who comes over often. SamMan is now convinced they are boyfriend/girlfriend.)

Sigh

No, this is not a picture on our camera. (From the good ol' google image search.) I just am so depressed that the weather has been so rainy lately. It's pretty crazy. Today, the weather's beautiful and sunny. But yesterday was the biggest hail/rain storm I've ever seen. It was like a river on the street. Even before this crazy storm, "they" said that we've already had more rain in June than the average for the whole month. (Yay.) On a snowday in March, (or was it April) I joked we'd still have snow on the ground in July. The way its going now, the laugh might be on me. I think I need to enjoy our good weather day right now.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

My Grandpa Has this thing for the Touring shows coming to Salt Lake called Season Tickets. Its basically one ticket that's valid for the four or five shows coming that year. It's in the same seat on the same day. The big plus is that he can buy extra tickets to popular shows earlier than everyone else.

Anyway, he usually gets 5 season tickets a year, and than takes friends and family with him. (You can have more than one person use a ticket.) Last night, he took me and Princess to "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang." It was so much fun. They had an incredible brightly painted car that did actually "fly", even with people in the car. All the costumes, set, and lighting were top-notch. :)
The songs were good, and two characters in paticular made everybody laugh out loud. It was so
much fun!

SamMan & Willwam in: Jogusboy's How to Suceed in a Job in the Entertainment Industry While Still in Diapers (a Beauty and the Jogus Publication.)

Wow, these kiddos are growing up fast. SamMan is continuing his long-running gig as family comedian. Today was especially side-splitting.

(Watching Princess jog outside, in a conversation to himself.)

"Anna is a good runner. Am I a good runner? Yes, I am. Rememeber when I runned with her in the Jogapalooza?" (Jogapalooza is our school's fun run.)

(Wanting Princess to give him back the DVD case she was looking at.)

"You need to give it back right now! 1.... 2.... 3....!"

(Laughter.)

"Hey, that's not funny!!"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Willwam is currently trying his luck at becoming a professional gymnast. So far, here is his response.

"4 Stars!"- Billy Bob Bob the Critic Dude "An Honor to all gymnasts in Mickey Mouse Diapers!"-
Shirley Shirleyson- Lil'Critics.com

He is a very rolly-poly baby. When you set him down, he usually ends up several feet away, on his stoumach, trying his darndest to chew the nearest item. In a recent experiment, he could roll across a blanket, and ended up with a toy train track tunnel-thingy around his leg.

So follow these two bright, young examples, and you too can be a star without the pains of toilet training.

100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I drank some root beer today, which reminds me of...
http://beautyandthejogus.blogspot.com/2008/09/countdown-to-root-beer-is-and-other.html
SamMan wanting to name Willwam Root Beer! Tee hee.

(Ah, the fun of looking back at old blog posts, and its not just mine I sift through! :))

Now to the real point of this post (LOL) is that this is a post! Because this is post 100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe I've typed and put pictures in this white little box, and then shared them 2 the world! I know I am most likely more shocked then everyone else is. I would have never thought that I would do 100 posts! Thank you for reading my blog even when it is monstorously boring. I will try harder to make it exciting, so that you don't worry about taking a nap in the middle.

100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New, New Colors

I just can't make up my mind, can I? I've been having a great summer! (got out June 5th.)

Yup, life right now is pretty boring.

One Question

New Colors- Yes or No?

Friday, June 5, 2009

The Last Week of May (This Post Will Most Likely Be Terribly, Terribly Boring) aka: Post 96

The title says it all.
On Monday, we did the 4th annual Lehi Kids Triathalon. It was a blast. We swam, rode our bikes, and then ran. We thought that when I made it to the stop where you start to run, I could just change into my tennis shoes there so that I didn't have to push my really wet feet into socks/shoes at the bike stop. However, Mo and Daddy didn't end up making it, so I ran in my flip flops. Princess did well and kept informing us that "She got second out of the little kids." (If you try to tell her that se got second out of the little kids, she gets upset.)
On Thursday, at our school fun run, the most ironic thing happened. After you run, they do a raffle and give out prizes. Me and Princess both got towel packages, (hers girly, mine boyish) that came with goggles. These were both at seperate raffle times, w/ no intentions of the brother-sister giveaway. And we both needed both of those things. A Coincedence? I THINK SO!
(And, Princess got a bag with passes to go to a bunch of cool places, so many activities will revolve around the passes she got.)
PS- I am almost to 100 posts! :)

An Amazing, Touching Story (Tears)

It might be that I have a personal connection to this story after spending time with my autistic cousin, but it sure prevents me from having dry eyes. Check it out in The Friend June 2009.

"My Brother is My Best Friend. By: Boston, Age 8

My big brother has autism. It is hard for him to talk and make friends, but he is my very best friend. I take care of him when we ride the bus to school, and I make sure he doesn't get lost when we are away from home. I help him find his class in primary and pray for him every night. (Teary.) I have faith that one day he will be able to tell me what he has been thinking all this time. He will smile and tell me that I am his best friend too. I am so lucky to be his brother. I love him."

Crying yet? :)

A Thank You and an Explanation

So, I see that some of you saw my five-word "Bob" post, and here's the story so you know that I haven't gone crazy.

On my dad's old laptop, it only shows blog posts from May 1st and earlier. We were trying to figure it out, so I did a test post to see if it would come up, (which it didn't.) Now, today I'm on Mo's desktop, and I now realize that at least 3 of you have seen it and are concerned about my well-being. Sorry! It was the first thing that came to my mind.
Well, since I'm typing anway, let me continue by saying THANK YOU!!

I got six comments!!! SIX!!! SIX!!! SIX!!! SIX!!! THAT'S MY BIGGEST NUMBER EVER, AND USUALLY I HAVE TO REPLY-COMMENT TO GET THAT SIZE OF A NUMBER!! WOOHOO!!!

So thank you for being awesome and commenting

Checking Back In.

Well, not much has been going on lately. Two things are eating away on my mind, though. To avoid having the fourth month in a row with little blogging, I decided to post and just see how it goes.

First is Football. We had an amazing 6 win-2 loss season. It helped that we had several great defensive players, (and yes, I still think you were the best this season, Keith) a star quarterback. And is it wrong to admit that yours truly only had one center-related fumble this year? (I have proper bragging rights, me and dad counted at least 9 center-related fumbles from opposing teams.) Anyway, we ended up doing really well. So now I'll explain my little dillema. I was planning on coming back and doing FF with two friends next fall. But after the game, I found out that my coach coaches at a Juan Diego league, and said that he would (or any coach would) like to have me as a center or lineman. So, I'm really unsure what to do. But that isn't the only thing on my mind.

Second is SUMMER VACATION!! I am almost done with school, and am counting down the days left of school, (I think its 15.) I can't wait for the lazy, warm days of summer to come. Hurry up, time! Yesterday we planted a garden, so weeding will be a big job this summer. Anybody have a couple of spare hours to help us weed daily?? (just kidding :)

So, ya, that's about it.

I'll post tommorow, if I have time.

Saturday, May 2, 2009

WOOHOO!

Big Kudos to Princess!! She got an award of Merit at the Multi-School Level at the Art Express Program!

Sweet Victory, Cubed

Woohoo! Me and my team have won three Flag Football games! We have a great quarterback, a great defensive system, and the best of them all, the Center, yours truly. Not to brag or anything... Anyway,I am just really excited and hope that we can continue our winning streak!!!!

Wait! Wait, Wait,Wait, 6 Months!!?

Let's just say he's not so teeny-tiny anymore!! He's in the 85th percentile for height, for goodness sakes. Willwam, (this new nickname is appropriate, since he's a bit to little to be called Babooshka anymore!!) has just had his 6 month appointment!! I know, I know there's now way you can be as shocked as I am, but- 6 months!!? Compared to the other 6 month year olds, he is a tall baby with a skinny lil' body and a small head. 6 months!!? He is an incredibly well-behaved baby, who is always smiling, and loves to be around family, especially Mo and Yours Truly. Often times on school mornings when I wake up and see he is awake as well, I walk over to his favorite chair. If seeing him squirm and smile to a simple, "Hi, Buddy," doesn't put you in a good mood, you may need to see a doctor, because you may be suffering from a rare but serious case of Cold Heart Disease. I'm often afraid he'll fall out of his chair!! He has had some interesting adventures with his squirming such as finding him face-down, off the place where we set him, etc., etc. He loves to play with things such as his saucer and hang toy. And boy does he love to be held!! Most of all,he loves to be loved, and is always ready for a snuggle. And now, after his 6 month shots, he is more snuggly than ever. Willwam, I love you so much, and now I finally understand why the world is full of phrases like, "They grow up so fast."

What Is This Feeling, So Sudden and New?!

We felt the first time we laid eyes on Wicked. Well, it didn't meet our expectations. It exceded them!! I felt like I was DEFYING GRAVITY and was on Cloud Nine for the rest of the day because of Wicked. It was WONDERFUL, from the time spent at DEAR OLD SHIZ to when NO ONE MOURNED THE WICKED. The soundtrack was amazing, and we loved enjoying our ONE SHORT DAY seeing it live. We agreed that it is good that no more tickets are available, since we'd probably go see it again if we could!! Now that would be SOMETHING BAD. Wicked has had us DANCING THROUGH LIFE since our Saturday Matinee. Stunning, Awesome, Inspiring.
Well, that's about it. Now I'm just trying to savor the soundtrack, AS LONG AS IT'S MINE. It will be one of our top favorites FOR GOOD. It was even POPULAR with SamMan, who has learned bits and pieces from two or three songs.

Once Upon A Time...

In A Heavenly Kingdom as close to Zion as we can get, a young prince known for his humor and storytelling climbed onto the King's lap.

Here's how it went:

King: Samuel, are you ready to go to bed?

Sam: Um, no, but can you tell me a story?

King: Why don't you tell me a story?

Sam: Ok, once upon a time, there was a boy named Samuel, and he didn't want to go to bed.

That is awesome!

St. George

Be-yoo-tee-ful.
We arrived on Thursday, and had a great time. We swam, played basketball, went bowling, watched TV and movies, did Easter crafts, and relaxed. It was awesome! It felt sooo good to relax and slack off for a couple of days. We got to dye Easter eggs and do fun crafts on Saturday when there was a bit of rain. Other than Sat. Morning, the weather was warm and gorgues. And the food. The food was a-maz-ing!!! We ate at In-N-Out Burger, Tom's Deli, Bear Paw Cafe, and Pizza and Pasta Factory. Remember those names, because those are the best resteraunts in the city. We had to go home Easter afternoon. All in all, it was incredibly excellent, and we can't wait to go back.
(Plus SamMan and Babooshka did super well in the car!!)

Off We Go!

After months of preparation, (or, if you want to be logical...) After a week and a half of preparation, it's finally here! Soon, we'll be off to St. George! SamMan has gotten the swim bag out a bunch, and his version of packing is getting a bag of pretzels, a blow-up swim carrier, and his swimsuit and informing us he's ready to go. He told Mo yesterday, after spending various times during the week in just a swimsuit, "Mommy, today I will wear my swimsuit. It's not too cold. I'm going to go outside. OK??" Sticking to his stubborn traits, (now where in the heck did he get those from??) he wore his swimsuit around the house all day. It was the longest day of his, and Mo's. He has been absolutely sure for the last two weeks that today will be the day we will go. And when the kids got their third day off, he was crying for S-A-I-N-T G-E-O-R-G-E, (I'm scared to even type it, since we have him cleverly stalled with Out of the Box.) Luckily, the awesome, awesome Barneys let us escape with a Cafe Rio lunch, an easter egg hunt/dye, and jumping on the trampoline. It was so awesome, thank you Barneys!! After our escape, we ate leftovers and watched Idol.

Now, we wait, for the grand moment were we finally put our bags into the car, check our activity backpacks, pick up Grandpa Brent, and head out. YES!!!! :)

Jogusboy will be back Sunday. I hear Daddy coming back from the store, so I have a bit of work to do.

Bon Voyage.

I've been waiting for-ev-er to say that.

a verry happy and getting-ready-for-tropical-vacation jogusboy.

Confrence Weekend

I love confrence. It's such a great time to listen to the prophet and apostles and be with family. I loved all the talks, but my favorites were from Elder Hales and Ucthdorf. I felt the spirit very strongly, especially in their talks. We missed Grandma and Grandpa Mission, but we know that their hearts were with us, even thought they are hundreds of miles away in Beunos Arieas. It is exciting to think that next April Confrence I'll join my two uncles, my grandpa, two of my cousins, and my Dad, to go to Preisthood Session for the first time with my cousin Jeffery. Hope your confrence was as great as ours!!

See Post Below...

Last post, Jogus reentered. Jogus is back, and three minutes later!

Last post I said, "Maybe nothing interesting happened, though I know that one was not true. "

I know a very exciting reason that is not true.

Last Saturday, we made a goal list. If we are able to complete those goals we will go to... ST. GEORGE!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited. We'll go over Spring Break, that is if we go. I'm so excited!!!

The countdown is.... 5 days.

PS- Anybody who knows me thought that I must have every second planned the moment they read that we are going to St. George!! Sadly you are right. Tommorow's post will be that plan, though I strongly advise you to wait to visit the page until I've written something more interesting.

Peace Out,
jogusboy

Slowly Reentering: The Explanation of Jogus's Blog Break

So now I am back into blog world, after my short absance. I am writing this post listening to confrence.

I don't really know what caused my so-called blog break. Maybe I was just to obsessed with March Madness to do a ton of posting in March. Maybe nothing interesting happened, though I know that one was not true. Maybe my readers (all 3 of them,) needed a Jogus break, which is understandable. But, whatever the reason, I'm back in a writing tornado. Probably inspired from my 90+ minutes of reading last night.

To see cute pictures of Princess and Baboosh, please visit angelafielding.blogspot.com, aka the Simply Chic Photography Blog.

So, readers beware, Jogus is suddenly Back!! (dundundunDUUUNNN!)

The Piano Playin', Ice Cream Eatin' Post

This post is about the finer things in life. Which we all know as piano music and ice cream.

PIANO: Princess and Jogus had a great time participating in Federation this year. They practiced very hard. And luckily, it all paid off. :) They both got Superiors from the judges, which means the judges could tell they knew the song and practiced a whole lot. In our four pieces combined, we made a total of just two mistakes!! It was a great experience, and Jogus is making progress every year. Next year, we both have a chance to win a trophy! :)

Speaking of playing the piano, Jogus played the prelude in primary. It was a bunch of fun playing semi-simplified versions of "I am a Child of God" and "I Lived in Heaven."

ICE CREAM: We scream for Ice Cream!

A few days ago, I had a scoop of Ben and Jerry's ice cream.

Mmmm, it was good. But that's not really what this post is about.

When me and SamMan were playing outside, (we've had summery wheater throughout the week,) we heard a blaring loud, playful music. Ignoring the music, we went inside to do something else. We came in to find Mo and Daddy rushing down stairs, to tell us that the ICE CREAM TRUCK was outside. We invited some neighbor kids to come, slip on some shoes, and buy some ice cream bars. They had everything from Batman, (yes batman) to Heath.

It was yummy. :)

SamMan had a face covered in Strawberry icecream. It was hilarity, so we took some pics. I need to get them onto mushpot of awesomeness soon.

so that's about it.

(speaking of mushpot of awesomeness, i'm still mad about my screwed up post. look at the original post and the post below to find out why.)

Saturday, March 14, 2009

aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!

(see mushpot of awesomeness: post these are a few of ________'s favorite things)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just tried to do a post on Mushpot of Awesomeness. Um yeah, didn't go so well. I decided to publish it for the comic novelty of it.

Spacing is wierd.

Pictures took foreverrrrrr to upload.

There is about 6 cazillion (no, that's not a number...) empty lines between the first and seconde line... (honestly didn't know how that ended up.)

The words don't match the pictures right.

Even the note telling that it didn't turn out right SOMEHOW got screwed up and messed up my poem about SamMan.

THIS is NOT my lucky blog day. :(

ps ( brooke's kids got SamMan addicted to power rangers. it's kinda violent but it keeps him happy so, i'm goin' with it. :)

What Do You Think!??!

What's Better for my main text color:

LIME GREEN OR WHITE???????

Tell me what you think in your comments.

Be honest.

5: The Gigantic Post

I did a huge intro last time, but I have several items of homework to get out of the way, so I'll just have to skip it. Let's just say it's been an eventful last few days around here.

SAMMAN HAD HIS THIRD BIRTHDAYwith presents, Noodles and Company, music class, and playlands. The playland was JUNGLE JIM'S a mini indoor amusement park. He took two rides on the swings, spinner ride, and rollercoaster, played in the climbing zone, and also rode the carousel, rockets, and jungle cars. Dad got us a bunch of arcade tokens, so we played their as well. It was such a blast.

JOGUS'S SCHOOL PROGRAM was just about as close to Broadway as Flabio: The Story of A Blogger Mascot is. Which means it was pretty dang close. We basically sang a bunch of American songs and said parts that was supposed to give you the "journey through America's History affect" ANYWAY, it was a lot of fun and Mo, SamMan, and Grandpa were impressed.

Later that day Dad took us NIGHT SKIING. The only real advantage to snow, let me tell ya. Princess did awesome, espicially considering that was her third time skiing. Jogus had fun too, and we can't wait to go again.

Then, MONTHS AND MONTHS OF HARD WORK CAME DOWN TO THIS EVENT. IT'S JOGUS'S PIANO RECITAL, AND PRINCESS'S TOO. It was crazy mindbending. I was pretty dang nervous. We did it at the Piano Gallery, and I calmed down by watching the silent presentation on the screen. They set up a camera so that you can see the piano player's hands on screen. It's pretty cool. Princess did great. And now for legal purposes I have to warn you that I am about to brag. I DID AWESOME!!! I only made one minor mistake on one of my songs, that's it. And I played a three-page song and a Minuet written by BACH MEMORIZED!! I am so excited, I hope I do good at federation.

Today we missed most of the school morning to go to the DRAPER TEMPLE! It was a great time to go, especially after hearing stories of people waiting two hours. The spirit was so strong there. The celestial room had a humungous and be-yoo-ti-ful chandeiler that was almost as be-yoo-ti-ful as the feeling inside. Mo and Princess LOVED the carpet and lights in the Bride's room. And the huge sealing room with the huge 'forever' mirror was another highlight. Everything on the walls were amazing, but the feeling inside was even more. Princess was close to tears of joy in the Celestial Room. It was a great experience for our family.

And afterwards, we got to look at temple pictures and eat cookies.

Sorry to my three-person fan club that I haven't blogged in forever.

Hope your life's has been as awesome as ours!!

3

remadgrqeGQERGNPOQadgqdgqihgoqerpoihhriqe is a good description of my brain and thoughts right now. just blah-ish. i dunno. it's a wednesday thing,i guess. i guess it's just too middle-of-the-weekish for me. wanting not to take tests. wanting to know if i can achieve my goal list in my little piano notebook. and wondering when something significant enough to blog about will happen.

and nothing has.

but again, today is wednesday, so maybe somethings have happened but i've been to tired or oblivious to notice it.

so here's some stuff from last week (3 events,to be exact) that i've been to lazy to blog about.

I WON AN AWARD LAST WEDNESDAY. It felt pretty good. It was for my science fair project, which is NOT a fun experience. But anyway, the judges gave me a purple ribbon which means that in a couple of weeks I'll go down to UVU and present my poster to some even tougher judges who will decide if i'm going to STATE COMPETITIONS. WHICH MAKES ME NERVOUS, considering that I haven't actually gotten my poster back. Hoping that it's just gathering dust in the Science Lab, and they didn't lose it. BUT THEN AGAIN, NOT UNCOVERING THINGS IS A WEDNESDAY THING, so I guess i'll just have to clear it up tommorow.

I GOT PERMISSION TO SKIP MATH CLASS. EVEN BETTER, I got to eat OREOS with my principal and everyone else who got a purple ribbon. Lots of fun.

THEN THERE WAS THAT MINI-RIOT at my basketball game on Saturday. It's a pretty fun story to tell, and since I'm no natrual storyteller, I'll do my best.

A kid on the opposing team (with a rather intimidating red mohawk, might I add,) was PLAYING DIRTY, which is Jogus-talk for PUSHING the COACH'S SON. Coach was pretty angry, especially since the REFS WOULDN'T CALL IT. He blew it off, but when it happened again, well, it really was as if he screamed "I'M MAD!" to the world.

I'm not especially proud about what happened next. But oops, too late, the first half of the story is on the internet. So put your Diet Coke down and get ready to be shocked by the Schockinator!!!

COACH PUSHED RED- MOHAWK KID!!!!!!!!!! And it wasn't a gentle one either. It was a jump-across-the-court kind of push. Well red-mohak kid's mom got FURIOUS!!! She got out of chair... Let me rephrase that. She STORMED out of her chair, ANGRILY STRUTTED across the court and started yelling at coach. They had end the game. NOT COOL!!!

have a good week.

here's to ruin the evil wrath of tq[46u9[34qrgiqhoiqhqoiqioyhpqoihqophpoqrajk;kafhhahahakjh.

Last Weekend...

By Wednesday, I realized I hadn't blogged about the baptism, so I just decided wait until the weekend ot do the post. And so finally, by 2:50 pm on a Saturday, I will try to remember every single detail about our wonderful weekend.

It started off like any Saturday morning, with a Crack of dawn wake-up time, Tv shows we didn't have time to watch during the week, muffins, and all sources of general merriment.

But we knew it wasn't an average Saturday. Will was unknowingly taking the first BIG step in his young life. Anna was taking the gospel's step two, but she actually knew about it. :-) And Jogus, he had a talk and was scared. Really scared.

We started getting all ready at about 10 am. Grandpa Brent came, and we loaded in the car.

I talked calmly to Anna, but inside it was opposite of a calm conversation.

Flutterflies and Jitterbugs made colonies in my stoumach. And they moved up to my head. And messed up all creative and reasonable thoughts in my brain. :-0

But I coudn't allow that. So I pretended like all the flutterflies and jitterbugs and a bunch of other insects that I couldn't name had decided to move their LARGE families away.

And everything went great :-)

I talked with half stumbles and trembling hands, but I got by and delivered a great talk, if I do say so myself.

Anna overcame all fears of toes or hair coming out of the water, and she had a wonderful baptismal service.

The activity day girls did a musical number, and Grandpa Brent gave a lovely "object presentation." Willwam got blessed, and we just were glad I hadn't recently turned twelve. Haha.

ha. :-)

And then we had a lunch, played with iPods, talked, and Jogus recieved a sea of comments about his talk. Ah. So glad that's over.

And we all had a great day.

Domino Affect of Everything Unfortunate- A Review of Friday

(for maximum effect click the link on Brewer Bunch and read A Series of Unfortunate Events... and Have You Ever Had One Of THOSE Days?)

YES JEN, we just had one of THOSE days. YES JULIE, I was in the middle of A terrible, Horrible , No Good, Very Bad, days. YES BROOKE, we never felt guilty to have the tv on for hours.

Bad day posts are fun to read, not fun to experience.

And, it is kinda fun to reflect on.

It started, with the fact that Daddy was leaving to Tampa straight after work. So when he left at 7 in the morning, we knew we wouldn't see him until sunday night.

Great Start, isn't it? So anyway, Mo comes down-a mess, because she only had ONE HOUR of sleep the night before. That's because Baboosh comes down, and out of all days, he caught EVERYONE'S sickness. So he's coughing and sobbing, and NEWSFLASH, we figure it was going to be a LOOOOOONG day. He cried almost all morning, and Mo tried to get some sleep while we took care of SamMan.

Then, we made our to-do list. Let's just say 6- PARTS on my to-do lists. And then when I tried to do my book report, I realize that my book taught me almost nothing, and I have to write a THREE PARAGRAPH essay on the country.

Then, Dwayne invites me over. (Ok, so my day wan't completely negative.) Then, as I ride my bike over, my ungroomed hair is stuck to the helmet. Ride back home, pull it off in one big yank.

So after a couple of hours, I decide to come home and see if I can pull off anything productive.

Nada.

Soon, Mo loads everyone in the car so we can take Baboosh to the doctor. This is were the dominoe effect happens. We played with friends, which causes us to be running slow, which causes us to be in a rush, which causes me to forget my book, which causes another two hours of nothing productive. How's that for dominoes.

When Mo gets back, we discpver Baboosh has an earache AND a virus, which causes the dictors to tell her she's lucky, but it could get worse, which causes Mo to get teary wiht worry, which causes me to think it's my fault for touching him too much, which causes 20 minutes of tears and meltdown.

Which causes a phone call from Tampa to try to calm us down.

The sickness causes us to spend a lot of time at Walgreens, which causes us to get a Drive-thru dinner at Wendy's.

Which causes spills, which causes more meltdown.

And I learned mini miracles do happen, like princess telling me she'll take care of sambo, which causes me to finally talk wiht mo to let it all go.

And I learned lessons the hard way, like how hard Mo and Daddy work every day. And in the end that caused us to go to bed, and to try to forget everything that had happened.

Start of a Mini Week

This morning, I just realized, that from last Saturday to next sunday, 9 days btw, there is only three days of school. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are in the middle of 2 three-day weekends. ( Friday is "teacher work day") so what to do with all this free time? Maybe I could just spend a day with a ton of video games, trying out all we have. maybe i could do a ton more blogging than i usually do, or try to have a late night. Who knows? All i know is I'm going to take advantage of 2/3 of a long week off as I can.

Oh, yeah and I have a bunch of stuff due coming up. Ugh. "Free time" is not free time anymore.

Driving Along...

Um, can I just say that babooshka is NOT I repeat NOT an enjoyer of car trips. Um, can I say one more thing, that babooshka's gums are NOT I repeat NOT strong enough to suck a binky. So in the end, you either hold his binky in for 10-minute periods, or listen to him cry. It ended up a combo of both. But hey, after 8 hrs. in the car in a 30 hr. mini- trip, we're lucky nobody got hurt and nobody went completely insane.

3 hours to Burley. Whoever finds entertainment in reading about Isreal is the most easily-entertained person on the planet. True, I did enjoy reading about and studying histioric Christian sights, but still, who really likes this stuff! It was my book report book,so I just had to endure it. Here's what I got out of the timeline and most of the captions

One group killed another group, and then they stayed there for a few decades, until a group came back and killed them again.

But I got it finished. But then, I REALLY had to go to the bathroom. So I just kept my legs shaking until I was able to run inside the house and tinkle.

1 hour to Gooding- The 1 hour video game hour. Sam Fisher came along, so we played games on the iPod and DS. That's it!! Well, actually I just proved myself wrong. I did learn about my journey on Boy Scouts Of America.

4 hours back home again- Babooshka cried. I read. Harry Potter was blaring. That is all I remember.

Oh and PS,

10 minutes ago was the chosen time. The time where the Potty Movie goes back to the library.

Hopefully, he got something out of it, and he can continue a normal POTTY TRAINED life.

My First Post Labled Vacation!

It's time for a look at the fun in the vacation capital of the world... SOUTHERN IDAHO!!! OK, so maybe it may not be your first image that comes to mind when you think "luxury vacation" but it does come too mind when you think "cousin cabanza" or WEPR for short. This isn't even a official WEPR, but Grandma A's birthday wish was to see grandkids, so this post is from a Super 8. Not much room at grandpa's house, for this fam, folks. Yesterday we had homeade pulled pork sandwiches, chips, and salad for dinner. Followed by homeade brownies with John John Leprecaun's famous frostind. You know a brownie is gonna be good when 1/2 the brownie is chocolate frosting, Julie remarked. Atta girl Julie, you have figured out dessert tip 101-

If you want a brownie, no, just any dessert, to taste good, add a thick layer of chocolate frosting.

Yet, we didn't just go there to eat food, believe or not. Shockingly, we did other stuff too.

Like engaging conversations with adults + older cousins. And a shocking game of Movie Studio, where we had a lot of fun "filming" an action movie. Grandma A has a huge barn, so we can play it again with Fishers, Jacee, and Lehi Petersens.

Well, I'm off to the Continental breakfast. Cousins are coming at 9 to swim, and then we'll have a brunch. After play time, it's to the party!! Hooray!! Then, it's to the 3 hr. drive home. Ugh.

From my iPod. Love this thing!!!!

Ah, Babooshka

Well, I guess this is my last chance to blog before we leave for a mini-trip. Explain on Sunday, when we're back. Anyways, I realize I haven't kept you very updated on Baboosh. Lest just say, easiest baby ever. He smiles daily. He makes te best baby coos EVER. Goo goo ga ga has never been more appropriate. Does he have his moments? Yes. Does he wake up in the night? triple yes. But every time he smiles, our follows you with his eyes, or just doggon sits there, it makes you giddy and wonder why you don't add babies to the family every day. You just want to capture them in a jar, and keep it forever and ever, until finally in the end of time, when you wonder what life's purpose is, you let it all go, and keep it there until you're ready to wave goodbye. He can hardly take a bottle when he's in a good mood, his smile is so wide. Every moment with him is a treasure. I will always remember that. Always.

It's Official

After reading grueling "Curse you potty training posts" written by Jen and Julie, I knew teaching SamMan how to poo-poo in the potty would not be fun. At all. So when we decided that SamMan needed to learn, I offered Mo to be a team member so she could curse potty training publicly. She said no. She says that I do her blogging for her. Her loss, I guess. Anyway, we decided to start off by getting THE POTTY MOVIE from the library. I don't know what it is about the cheesiness and utter stupidity about that movie, but SamMan has watched that movie an unpresidented 12 times. (Ok fine, 11.) He's on 13. (I give up, 12th). Yesterday we got out the Sesame Street toilet cover and had him sit. No poo or tinkle. But hey, for a first weekend, that's pretty good. He wasn't enthusiastic about the potty idea, but as he watched The Potty Movie 80 billion times, he decided to be like his new favorite movie character Henry, and try it out. I'm going to leave you with an idea of how bad the potty movie really is. The song in the movie's chorus goes like this:

Bye- Bye pee pee.

Bye-Bye poo.

Bye-Bye diapers.

Now I'm through with you.

Do you see what I'm dealing with here?

NOT A GREAT START

YESTERDAY, I had a searing headache. We thought it went away, so I went to school. It came back. Mo was outside playing with SamMan, so I didn't get ahold of her. I finally decided to call her again after Lunch. I had to be checked out, and took a nap. Now, it's better. I really hope this won't happen again. I had to make up a lot of work, and I havn't even gotten my Homeroom work yet.

Back To Life.

We're back into real life. Tomorrow, no more hanging out. We have to be out the door, walking to school by 8:05. It's really quite sad, actually. Today we must enjoy every minute of our day, because it's going to be back to life tomorrow. Even on weekends and short holidays, winter break is always best. No homework to worry about. Snowy weather. holiday season. looong. Back to life tomorrow.

sad.

Birthday Party!!!!

I had a great birthday. I will add photos and videos from all of our December Fun all throughout next week. We purposely didn't plan much, so we all just had fun playing with each other. We had a lot of fun with Rock Band, the Wii, and Last Word. Everybody loved the Cafe Rio food. We were all screaming and having a good time when we played LAST WORD. If you don't know what that is, think of it as a combination of Catch Phrase and Scattegories. Mo made her famous poppyseed cake. I got iTunes money, real money, Yahtzee, and Battleship Torpedo. All in all, it was a big hit. My two closest neighbors stayed for an extra hour!!! I wanted our Christmas decorations up for the party, but now they're on the table, soon to be put into boxes. It's kind of sad, because this week real life sort of slapped us in the face. New Years Day was the last holiday of the "Holidays." The party was the last chunk of my birthday. (it came in chunks.) The Christmas decorations are down.
And now, today is the last day of Winter Vacation. Back to student life for me. NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

ajgaouigjafginarigobaborabg: THE POST

adgiupghpiruguapwegpuaghesdhpi explains the theme of this post. There isn't a theme!! I just decided to push a buttons and see how went. If adfpadugapgpaeugiaegioubadgs doesn't wake you up from computer daze, you need to go to bed. Quickly. If you didn't have to go to bed, please enjoy adgpuhpqergigbbgbuqrbubgqru, the post about nothing. Find a way how. Because if I told you a way, that would make sense, remember? Catching On? hope not. did you know that i have a bussiness? it's called fat cow. i'll tell you about it later. because this is agjdnpiugnpugrqpgupqbgqegpr23232323232, the post about nothing. and fat cow is something. isn't it? Maybe I could make adgpuhqpiguriguhhgrpeghrqgrhpq: The Movie. Fat Cow could make it. Doh! I am breaking many codes of adbgoigubadfadgibgbgbububuigsubg40912ll" right now. I'll tell you more later. but I can't right now. because that would make sense. and this is a post about nothing.

no progress zone

Wow, all over winter break, I've accomplished ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I've kept the house clean. That's it! Neither of the two resolutions even got started. Goodbye, first Beauty and the Jogus event. goodbye, organized basement.

i have my birthday party today, though.

that's not a time when you accomplish things

Ah Man, Time To Complete 2 Resolutions?

It's JANUARY 2ND, and we are already planning to complete one resolution as a family, and one resolution hopefully as a family. We are going to organize the disastorous basement today. And I need help remembering what we did in January 08 so that I can start my first Beauty and the Josgus event. It's not easy to be productive when there so many fun, uproductive things around you. Like my iPod. My unproductive, awesome, iPod.
