MANY IMPORTANT THOUGHTS FROM THE JOURNAL OF JOGUSBOY AUGUST 19-SEPTEMBER 23 RAIN, SCHOOL, AND A BIRTHDAY

AUGUST 19, 2010 {CRAZY DAY}
Today centered around William, who had a very bad cold and was grouchy throughout the day. I was also sick and had a sore throat. At 12ish, there was the biggest rainstorm I've ever seen. We ran out and played in our swimsuits. It was FREEZING!!! The rain pelted us as we ran out into the storm. Our gutters couldn't contain all of the water. We later learned that many of our neighbors' basements had flooded. We also went to the orthodontist and got dinner. Oh, and William has been screaming throughout the whole day.
Important thoughts: 1. There is no such things a normal day. It starts out with a surreal dream, and ends with purposely losing consciousness.

AUGUST 20, 2010 {WATERPARK}
We went to Classic today. Sam, a daredevil, enjoyed going down slides with his eyes closed alone. It was a great way to spend our last Summer 2010 Friday. :D
Important thoughts: Waterparks are America's favorite dangerous suburban pastime.

AUGUST 27,2010 {1ST WEEK OF SCHOOL}
First week of school went well. It was good that I was used to the building and lockers form 6th grade. Really enjoyed Theater though all my classes seem to be fun. Teachers are all very cheerful and helpful, and I'm happy to have Kefif in 4 of my classes. (Sadly no classes with Jarrett til January) Excited for the new chapter in my life and for the rest of the year.
Important thoughts: Making random words orange is enjoyable, unnecessary, and takes too long. The same thing can be said for how I spend Sunday afternoons.

AUGUST 30, 2010 {HAHA}
Today, Sam kept claiming he could make a basket at our backyard hoop (set on low.) We watched from inside, as he did make a basket. He came in to applause, and he hurried back out and tried again. He kept trying, and each basket was rewarded with celebration. His excitement and laughter reminded me of how much I love Sam's energetic personality. Love ya, buddy!
Important thoughts: Haha is not a good title, but it reminds me of The Simpsons.

SEPTEMBER 1, 2010 {SPANISH}
Spanish is going to be hard this year. Thank goodness I have Theater right after to relieve any stress.
Important thoughts: I can count to ten in Spanish!! 1-ito 2-ito 3-ito 4-ito...

SEPTEMBER 3,2010 {MMMM...}
steak.
Important thoughts: One word is sometimes. all you need.

SEPTEMBER 9, 2010 {SCHOOL & FRIENDS}
School is going well. I'm liking most of my classes and all of my teachers. It has also been friends again. Friday night, I invited 8 buddies over to roast hot dogs and to enjoy various shennanigans. Everyone had a great time. I also went to the dance. (Not with girls, just a few friends who were all male the last time I checked.) We danced, ate popcorn, and then got bored and tired, so we left early. It was fun, though. I am also going to a party hosted by Abe (no relation to the Lincolns.) Food and shennanigans may occur.
Important thoughts: Food and shennanigans are almost as fun as saying the words food and shennanigans.

SEPTEMBER 12,2010 {3 B DAYS THIS WEEK}
Optimists-Yay! Lost of Theater to work on crazy projects/ lip syncs/games/etc.
Pessimists: 4 hours of Science. This can't end well.
Optimists-Orange Chicken for lunch.
I could go on, but I'll end it happy. :)
Important thoughts: Science makes Jogusboy sad.

SEPTEMBER 15,2010 {HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM}
I love you.
Important thoughts: I also love the merriment and food involved with birthdays, but that is another story.

SEPTEMBER 18,2010 (SOME THOUGHTS ON THE LAST TWO WEEKS}
School has been going goodly. (Especially grammar.)
I have a lip-sync in Theater, So me and Koleman got together to practice and gather costumes. Merriment ensued. Koleman and all of my friends have been fun to see every day at school. I've got cool friends who influence me for good. They're also there when you need someone to talk to in science. :)
Important thoughts: You can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose.

SEPTEMBER 23,2010 (UM, YEAH)
What do I say? School is um scholarly, where learning and other things ensue. Home is um homey, where family and other things ensue. Life is um, lively where greatness and laughter and friendship, and love and anger and peace and chaos and chicken nuggets and beauty and wonder and hate and amazing things ensue. Earth is a crazy place. I thank God for letting me hang out on it, and occasionally making fun of it, writing it down, and sharing it. That deserves a round of applause.
Important thoughts: Can you tell I wrote this at 10 at night?

Many Important Thoughts from The Journal of Jogusboy, July 25, California Trip

I haven't been as frequent in my journal writings lately, but here is the full California recap.

SUNDAY JULY 25, 2010 {CALIFORNIA TRIP}

On Monday, we spent some time at hunnigton Beach. It took us awhile to figure out that it wasn't a good day to boogie board. But it was fun to body surf in the big waves. That night we enjooyed tortillas and we fell asleep- but not for long 'cuz we're crazy and get up at 6 am, and also cause we we were going to Disneyland. But mostly cuz we're crazy. It was a great day at Disney, however. I rode Tower of Terror 3 times, and we sat so close we got wet at the World of Color show. Sam loved It's a Small World and was thrilled when he got to meet mickey mouse (William however grabbed Mickey's nose and started Crying). We took him on some scarier rides like Splash Mountain and Grizzly River Run. He handled them pretty well and should be back to normal after a year or two of therapy. (just kidding, though Splash mountain did freak him out) William had fun on the Teacups and Carousel. It was fun taking some cousins on the Tower of Terror for the first time, nobody got sued, and we still had money left so, successful day at Disney! The next day started out rainy, so we didn't go to the beach. We were all tired from avoiding lawsuits the day before, so everyone was happy to laze around all morning. We later saw Despicable Me, and ate incredible clam chowder and crab cakes. (I know this may gross out many, but this is comparable to the seafood that they serve in heaven.)
Thursday we went to Corona Del Mar beach, which is named after the famous taco shack. (Just kidding, that's Newport.) The sand was soooooo soft. The boogie boarding was fantastico. The waves were absolutely perfect and it was so much fun. One of the best memories I want to keep from this trip is boogie boarding with my mom. We were both a little scared, but we were laughing and enjoying ourselves once we got a good wave. We had so much fun, we decided to go back the next day. The boogie-boarding was still top-notch, but this time I really enjoyed being in the shallow water with Mom, Dad, and the kiddos. Everyone loved the waves. Sam claimed that he "liked the water after all." The next day, it was time to leave. When saying goodbye, Sam burst into tears. As he cried in Mom's arm, he still had an arm sticking out to wave goodbye. Before we left, we went to Balboa Island. Mom would always go to Balboa as a little girl, so it was a nostalgic experience for her. After the Ferris wheel and the ferry, it was time to leave. And now, we are returning to normal life. (sob.)

IMPORTANT THOUGHTS: 1. CALIFORNIA IS FUN.

Many Important Thoughts from The Journal of Jogusboy, July 8-19, The Golden State, Summer Evenings, and A New Blog add July Fun

(In case you haven't noticed because you have recently had eye surgery, or something, the bog has changed. I will now do a more non-traditional blog where I post many important thoughts from my journal, hence the title. I should probably separate the new and the old somehow, but eh, I'm too lazy.)

THURSDAY JULY 8 , 2010 {OUTSIDE WITH WILLIAM}
"Today, I was outside by myself when a toddling friend dressed in a brown T-Shirt and overalls came waddling toward me. He came toward my comfy spot, his smile growing with each step. He was so happy, his chubby face bursting with joy that I had to laugh out loud myself. We later walked together, him on a raised path separating the play area and grass, me next to him. He holds my first finger as we walk together quietly, back and forth, him taking breaks from our walk to play with something interesting. I break the silence with some word practice.
Say "Ball!"
"Baw!"
"Yay!"
Say "Laurel!"
"Wauwewl!"
Later, I am inside and see him still outisde, exploring the sand, practically upside-down, with his toddler bottom, padded for trips and slips sticking out, facing the world.
That's my boy."

Important thoughts: 1. People wearing diapers tend to be more loyal, friendly, and generally awesome than the average American.
2. The average American isn't all that loyal, friendly, or generally awesome.
3. I use 5 commas in one sentence.

THURSDAY JULY 15, 2010 {WAITING}
"
Tommorow we head to Cal-if-orn-ia."
Important thoughts: 1. This is not a very in-tell-ig-ent journal entry.

SATURDAY JULY 17, 2010 {VEGAS}
"
Can see The Trump Tower, The Mirage, and The Stratosphere, and I'm feeling good."
Important thoughts: 1. Can see a roll of paper towels, a black diaper bag, and a box of fruit snacks, and I'm feelin' just as good.

MODDAY, JULY 19, 2010 {CALIFORNIA}
"
We saw an Angles game on Saturday night. I felt all American eating peanuts, cracker jacks, and hot dogs. The Angels won 7-6, and we all returned with jerseys, souveniers, and halos. The next day, we enjoyed food and swimming, and today we hit the beach."
Important thoughts: 1. My halo goes really well with the devil horns I got for my birthday.

Break from Blog

I have decided to take a hiatus (or permanent break, I will just have to see) from Beauty and the Jougs. I am writing in an actual journal. With a pencil.And, I have to make the words myself. What is this: the 50s? Anyway, bye blogland. Thanks for the funness and the writing practice. I'll still read your blogs, but I'll just be a quiet observer for now.

Fingers Crossed

After Sambo recovered, Princess got the flu. But, nobody's sick to day, and we're thinking we may be done with sickness. Hallelujah.

I Feel Bad For Sambo...

'cause he's been sick since last night. :(
Unfortunately, he's not just queasy, and he can't even keep down water.
He recently told Mom, "It doesn't feel good to throw up."
Sorry this post is kinda scattered, but Get Well Soon Sambo!!

about the jogusboy...

Let's just say that I'm the most awesome person in America. (Sorry, Worthy Contenders.)
