I did a huge intro last time, but I have several items of homework to get out of the way, so I'll just have to skip it. Let's just say it's been an eventful last few days around here.
SAMMAN HAD HIS THIRD BIRTHDAYwith presents, Noodles and Company, music class, and playlands. The playland was
JUNGLE JIM'S a mini indoor amusement park. He took two rides on the swings, spinner ride, and rollercoaster, played in the climbing zone, and also rode the carousel, rockets, and jungle cars. Dad got us a bunch of arcade tokens, so we played their as well. It was such a blast.
JOGUS'S SCHOOL PROGRAM was just about as close to Broadway as Flabio: The Story of A Blogger Mascot is. Which means it was pretty dang close. We basically sang a bunch of American songs and said parts that was supposed to give you the "journey through America's History affect" ANYWAY, it was a lot of fun and Mo, SamMan, and Grandpa were impressed.
Later that day Dad took us
NIGHT SKIING. The only real advantage to snow, let me tell ya. Princess did awesome, espicially considering that was her third time skiing. Jogus had fun too, and we can't wait to go again.
Then,
MONTHS AND MONTHS OF HARD WORK CAME DOWN TO THIS EVENT. IT'S JOGUS'S PIANO RECITAL, AND PRINCESS'S TOO. It was crazy mindbending. I was pretty dang nervous. We did it at the Piano Gallery, and I calmed down by watching the silent presentation on the screen. They set up a camera so that you can see the piano player's hands on screen. It's pretty cool. Princess did great. And now for legal purposes I have to warn you that I am about to brag. I DID AWESOME!!! I only made one minor mistake on one of my songs, that's it. And I played a three-page song and a Minuet written by
BACH MEMORIZED!! I am so excited, I hope I do good at federation.
Today we
missed most of the school morning to go to the DRAPER TEMPLE! It was a great time to go, especially after hearing stories of people waiting two hours. The spirit was so strong there. The celestial room had a humungous and be-yoo-ti-ful chandeiler that was almost as be-yoo-ti-ful as the feeling inside. Mo and Princess LOVED the carpet and lights in the Bride's room. And the huge sealing room with the huge 'forever' mirror was another highlight. Everything on the walls were amazing, but the feeling inside was even more. Princess was close to tears of joy in the Celestial Room. It was a great experience for our family.
And afterwards, we got to look at temple pictures and eat cookies.
Sorry to my three-person fan club that I haven't blogged in forever.
Hope your life's has been as awesome as ours!!
